Big Ideas

I'm actually happy with the pace at which my project is being revealed to me. As long as I don't compare my project to some of the other capstoners. I finally got a chance to go back and flesh out the proposal. Luckily the instructional design class is helping me to refine the elements of the topic. I've said that I'm going to get the enhanced podcasts done for that class. I'm afraid that I may be being overly optimistic, but it's good to aim high. And I really have to try to make that part of it cohesive. I'm also realilzing that I probably want to take the Flash action scripting class. Of course, I really would like to take web design and the non-existant advanced instructional design. I've gotta take the security class, such as it is. It's much harder for me to get excited about the stuff that is so much like my day job. Since I can't graduate in the spring and I have to wait around for the csit major to be approved, maybe I will take a few more design type classes. It's ironic that I really want the csit degree, but the courses I'm wishing for are tmac-y, design stuff. Speakin' of which, I sure hope to redo my crappy ilp site that I did last year for cst430. And if I get lucky I will figure out how to remove the home server profile from fugu since it won't connect since the credentials changed. At least that's what it says; I haven't looked at the certificate. This picture of Tesla is the picture of the week. I love how he's made lightening inside a building and he's sitting beneath it taking notes. I may want to use it for the ilp, though I probably want something more conservative on the capstone site, like the stones from newgrange maybe. Newgrange was a very powerful place to visit, even moreso than stonehenge.
